Is the federal overtime deduction a NYS add back?

Im not familiar with NY, but does it start with the fed AGI? 

If so, is the fed AGI adjusted by the OT deduction?  

The answers to these 2 questions should answer your question.

    Federal AGI is not adjusted for the OT deduction, so I agree that it is not an addback.  The crazy thing is that everything I read says that it is.  Even the NYS website says it.

      I think lots of stuff was written/updated before people really understood how it was going to work.
