Question
This did not happen in prior years, and not having a state distribution on a 1099-R is VERY common so why does it error out when you leave 16-1 blank or enter a zero? Retirees who have DIV or INT income often have state taxes taken out of their 1099-Rs, so they don't have a large state tax payment in April, but 1099-Rs rarely have a state distribution. Hoping this is on the "change list" for programming.
