Question

Is anyone having trouble with Quick Employer forms stuck in the status "efiledprocessing"

I used Quick Employer forms for 1099 filing.  Out of 211 forms that were submitted 12 are stuck in the status "efile processing" .  Some of these were filed 1/14/26.  One of the clients I submitted forms on 2/1, then more on 2/5.  The 2/1 forms are still "processing" while the 2/5 forms were accepted almost immediately.  The Proseries help line could not help me. Has this happened to anyone else and have you resolved it without calling the IRS to ask them why each of them haven't been accepted?(the suggestion the Proseries rep gave me)

Hi @Nancy9    Thank you for posting your concern in the Community. Here is a knowledge base about Common questions about Quick Employer Forms

If you scroll down to the section that says, "I e-filed my form(s). How will I know it was accepted with the IRS or SSA?"

The article states: "The form status will change from E-File Processing to either E-File Accepted or E-File Rejected, once the Government agency processes the form. The status change may take up to 2 to 4 weeks. You will also receive a notification by e-mail when the status changes."

You can also connect with support as they are best equipped to assist in this situation.

One of the businesses 1099s were filed on 1/7/26, another on 1/14/26.  That's well past the 2-4 weeks.  And no email was received even showing that they were sent in for processing.  Which makes me nervous also.  But the status shows as "efile processing".  I have called support twice.  They are not equipped to help with this issue.  The last person told me to call the IRS and ask why they haven't been accepted.  They also read from an outdated script.....  the first guy argued with me that corrected 1099s could not be processed thru Quick employer forms -however right across the top is this:

Correct e-filed forms!
You can now correct e-file accepted forms and re-submit them to the IRS. Now supporting corrections for 1099-INT, DIV, NEC and MISC forms.

But thanks for trying to help.
