IRS allows for direct deposit for 1040X refunds. Is the ProSeries program being updated to allow this?

on 2/9/23 the IRS announced that refunds from 1040X can now be direct deposited for tax years 2021 and 2022.  It does not appear that Pro Series 2021 was updated.  Is this program going to be updated so 1040X refunds can be direct deposited?

Have to wait for IRS to update the form before it can happen...maybe next year.

You have got to be kidding me. This was just announced by the IRS, and you think Pro Series is going to change this immediately during tax season? Unbelievable. There are much more important things than this. Pro Series did an excellent job this year and I give them credit. What is so wrong with your client getting the check instead of a direct deposit? God Almighty time for me to go to sleep.

Yes I do believe you need sleep.  Never said that ProSeries had not done a good job this year.  Wasn't complaining either, just asking a question.
