Question

Intuit's continued "We'll beat what you paid a tax pro last season for next year's taxes" advertising

Really makes me feel warm and fuzzy about Intuit knowing that I pay thousands each year in increased fees for their products. I thought that these ads were going to stop? I've already had clients call me on this matter (BTW, I told them to go ahead and make the move to Turbo Tax and not call me again).

I've sent complaints into the AICPA and NATP with regards to this continued ad campaign.

That's ok.  Elon's new tax app is going get rid of all of us and Intuit.  That thing is going to work slicker than those fancy unbreakable windows on those fancy tin cans called a Cybertruck.

I'm not sure why you thought Intuit was going to stop advertising for that service.  They said they would discontinue that specific TV ad, but stopping all advertising for that product is rather illogical and is not going to happen.

It makes me think of those paid preparers using TT that come here with a question, and they get a reminder of the EULA. It makes you wonder, why bother? It will be interesting how this is affected by the rollout of the freefile, too. And yeah, with the introduction of tariffs, you might as well plan on retiring, because there won't be income taxes at all. Ha ha ha ha ha ha...

A guy in my office filled out their questionaire saying he has 3 sch E rentals, self-employment income, 4 K-1's and pays $300.  They came back at $200.

Maybe I will send them all my returns, seems like cheap outsourcing.
