Information for MA Form 63D-ELT, MA Entity Level Tax Return, Not Printing on Letter
Hello,
We are preparing MA SCorporation returns that also have the MA Form 63D-ELT, MA Entity Level Tax Return. On the letters, no information is printing about the Entity Level Return being prepared. It is prepared, being electronically filed and any payment due auto withdrawn.
The letter says the Federal and MA S Corporation Excise returns are prepared, enclosed and will be electronically filed and addresses any balance due. However, it doesn't mention the MA Entity Level Tax Return at all.
It should be saying:
"Enclosed is the 2025 Form 63D-ELT, Massachusetts Entity Level Tax Return for CLIENT
Your 2025 Form 355S, Massachusetts Entity Level Tax Return for CLIENT will be electronically filed.
Your balance due of $0.00 will be automatically withdrawn from your Checking Account on DATE"
Please fix this issue. It should be part of the letter instructions. The letters/instructions should include the information on all returns prepared for the Client. We shouldn't have to create our own letters for this.
