Illinois preparers, 2024 3rd qtr ES payments are showing up as estimates paid after Jan 1st and adding to SALT

IL preparers are seeing 2024 3rd qtr estimates show up as being paid after 12/31/24 and being added to SALT along with the 4th qtr.  Check your clients before filing!

Other states may want to verify that its not happening to them too, I checked a couple CA returns, they seem ok.

The Federal Carryover Worksheet has a new checkbox above that section that shows payments made after Jan 1st, that asks if its correct or not, I'm not sure that's working as designed.

My tagging isnt working right today, I may get booted, @Kathi_at_Intuit   whew it worked!

Lisa, thank you very much!

I have been seriously considering filing all my returns on April 14th and 15th.  I am hoping by then the software will be working properly in 95% of the cases.  I can deal with 5% mess ups!

This was looked into and was fixed in an update of the ProSeries program. If anyone is seeing this, others have removed the return, retransferred it, and the concern was gone.
