Seems to be a bit long but see what happens by mid-day today.

On a weekend, not uncommon.

Hi @nlwjr1960 great to see you in the Community and thanks for posting about the return being received by Intuit for over 16 hours! You can check whether this is a known delay by reviewing our Delayed Acknowledgements support article:

How to check for delayed e-file acknowledgements

We recommend bookmarking the page using Ctrl+D to quickly reference it in the future.

Also keep in mind:

  • Federal return acknowledgements are typically available within one to three business days.
  • State return acknowledgements are typically available within two to five business days.

I've had this issue in the past for years now. It will eventually be accepted by the IRS.  This could be annoying especially if a client wishes to make an IRS or State payment.  I hope it gets processed soon.
