Question

I have a client that passed last year and the Drivers License what should I put as the Exp date? Should have been reissued early this year.

are they in a state that requires drivers license info be entered?  very few do.

    As Lisa asked, are you in a state that really needs the DL info?  If it would have expired in 2025, use that date if it is needed for the state being filed.

      NY is a required DL state, but you can check off no driver's license, and it will let it efile. Don't enter any driver's license and check off none. I would keep a copy of the expired license in their file.
