Question

I have 2 returns sitting in EF Center for 2 days and status update has not changed.

I e-filed two returns (one 1065 and one 1040) yesterday.  Usually the e-file status moves "from received by Intuit" to "sent to IRS" within 4 to 5 hous.  Are others experiencing this issues, is Intuit backlogged or is my link not working.

Yes.  I got the same issue as the returns in sent status for 3 days.  Run all the updates and the status updated has not changed.  Called support and they said there not thing I can do.  So frustrated.

Hi @Juliewish Thanks for stopping by the community and posting! We know deadlines can make things extra stressful, and we want to help get you the right tools. We would recommend checking out How to check for delayed e-file acknowledgements for our tax products. It includes the current delays and shows you how to check the e-file status in My Account

Hi @kuvitka Thanks for joining in on the conversation and for posting your first question. We've checked on this and currently there are no reported issues with the EF Center for ProSeries. We would recommend checking online in My Account for the e-File status or calling into ProSeries Support to have an agent check the status of the return.

This close to a due date deadline, its not uncommon for things to get backed up.

Make sure you Update the Acks, by highlighting the return then instead of choosing Receive Acks, pick the Update Acks of Selected returns in that same drop down menu..

I don't understand what the issue is either.   I have 3 returns that are "sent to agency" and have been that way for over 8 hours.    I also use Walters Kluwer and had no issues getting the acknowledgements back from them within minutes today.   I am so frustrated.   I feel that there is something going on with the program itself.   Meanwhile, I hope I can get an acceptance or rejection by midnight.

"I hope I can get an acceptance or rejection by midnight."

@MFLAN That doesn't determine timely filing. Submission date and time does.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

I have six returns that I e-filed earlier today, around noon, with the 'Sent to IRS' status. Ran all possible updates.

One return that I e-filed at 6:00 p.m. today was accepted.
