I cannot load the 2024 program. Error vcdedist_x86 Error(5)

Perhaps keep trying a few more times. It errored on me amid installation 4 or 5 times, before it finally successfully installed.

Put this in google and you'll find lots of info, looks like a Windows file issue

    Hi @Eklingsberg ,

    If you are seeing the issue during ProSeries 2024 installation, in the error screen you can see the link to download the vcredist_x86, you need to download and install the vcredist if ProSeries fails to install it for you.

    This can happen due to security protocols set in you machine or due to Permission issues.

    After you install vcredist, just start the installation again. And if you still face the issues, please reach out to customer support.
