Question

I can't seem to be able to file an extension yet. Do we need to wait for a certain date?

I Efiled a handful of 7004s and 4868s last week, theyre good to go.

You have to open the return and hit the Freeze box at the top of the extension worksheet.  If its a 7004, you also have to uncheck the EF box for the actual return and only leave the EF box checked for the Extension on the Fed Info Worksheet.
