i am having trouble starting my 2019 & prior tax programs

 i try to sign in on my 2019 & prior programs, i get a message:

"internet connection error" & would i like to sign in offline

when i try to sign in offline i get a message

"Unable to validate your online credentials
Please try again later."

    Before any of that though, be sure youve updated the program, you can get to the Update option through the Windows Start button > Programs/Apps > Proseries 20XX > Update
