Question

How to set client status to show in latest date updated instead of the order in the list

In client status there are all the boxes with each prompt in order. Lets just say a client was extended, and then we received their documents 10 days later. Because "extension accepted" is further down the list, it is showing that as their status in homebase instead of "data received".

This is making it difficult to remember who has dropped their stuff off when glancing at home base.

Is there a way to set it where the client status in home base will show as what was selected in the most recent date instead of order in the list??

Thanks!

Delete the date in client status next to extension and then check the box you want, and that will show in home base.

The date is black so it does not allow me to remove it from Homebase

  • Open the client and then go to client status.

You are able to add a new column of your choosing. Click on "home base" scroll down to add/edit custom views, and add whatever column in the list that you want.

Another option, in client status worksheet is the very last checkbox for 'Specify other status'.   This allows you to be precise, such as 'missing 1099s' etc, and will override any status above it.
