    Lower section of the 1099-R worksheet is a section with a box to check off if it was a roll over or not.

      If it was rolled over within 60 days, report as told by others; but don't forget: the IRS will need proof pf the 60 days when they review the return 16 to 18 months later.

      So 2024 returns filed on time, by April 15, 2025, will get a Notice in August through October 2026. Have the paperwork handy to send them to prove the 60 days was completed on time.
