How do I swap out a State I chose but did not use, and replace with a state that I now need

When I installed the 2024 Pro Series Basic, I chose 4 states. I never used one of those states. I just received a new client for whom I need a different state. How do I go about swapping out the state that I never used with a replacement state (e.g, CA never used but now need NC). Thanks ....

You can try removing the unused state (Windows Add/Remove Programs, choose Pro Series to uninstall, dont panic, it has a second window that lets you choose which parts to uninstall), but Im not sure if that will allow a new state to be added for unlimited.

You may be stuck calling Support anyhow, so it may be a good place to start.

As long as the 4th state was not used or any info transfered to it, download the state you need and when you go to print, check to use as one of your states.

That works for me, but I don't download my states until I need them.

I should add this will work as long as you have not licensed your original state. If you diid then support will be in your future. Deleting a licensed state will not work since the info is on the Intuit server and when you update it comes back.
