how do I check the version. I follow the steps> I launch the desired year of ProSeries and Select the Help menu but where is the About Proseries tab at?

In ProSeries Pro, it is the last item in the dropdown help menu. Don't know about Basic, but this link says it is under the help menu.

Why are you worried about the version? Ive never had reason to check which version by software is, I run updates and Ive got whatever the latest is thats available at the moment.

If you feel like youre not getting updates as you should, run REPAIR updates from the Windows Programs menu, this is a screen shot for 2021, but each year of PS has the same option below it.

If this is concerning 2023, many many more updates to come before its fully ready to use.
