how can you retrieve a file that Proseries has determined to be corrupt?

had a client's tax file completely disappear and was not deleted

is it corrupt or is it gone?  2 different things.   Do you see it in the 2025Data folder with a ~ on the end?

Where do you keep your backups of those files? On an external hard drive, in the cloud?

If using pro connect I think it’s call to support .   Hopefully they have a repair tool.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround
