a couple of clients have moved away and found preparers in their new area.  I would like to remove the states from the list of states available but can't find where to do this.  Meanwhile on the client letter, a CA client is is showing that they have a CA limied liability return as well as a CA 540.  I can't get rid of this incorrect info.

No need. Just don't install them when you install the new year.

To uninstall a state module:

Close ProSeries and use Windows Add/Remove Programs

Find ProWin 201X and click Uninstall. It will act like its going to uninstall the entire program, dont panic, it wont! It will open another window that lets you choose which part to uninstall. Find state you dont want and uninstall it.  Im not sure if you can do multiple states at once, or if you have to repeat the process for each.

Then when you open the program, go to Update> Select and Download New Products and make sure those states arent checked anymore so they dont download again when an update comes through.
