Have updated several times. Why can't I e-file a 1040?

E-filing a 1040 fails because ProSeries version is no longer current.  Have run updates a bout 4 times.  Still will not e-file.

did you try and refresh updates.. it is under the update button on top of the program

    I did a refresh updates and then applied the updates.  Make sure it is actually applying after downloading.

      Go to windows "Start" scroll down to ProSeries, then repair updates.
