Hello Intuit community,

Has the tax document import via pdf documents improved in 2025 and is it expected to improve further in 2026?

I just took an Intuit survey, theyre really pushing the AI automation crap. Data entry is the easiest part of the return and the easiest to check for accuracy right as youre doing it. I dont want anyone or anything else entering numbers in a return Im responsible for.

If they want to use AI for help windows and getting us better support for research needed to do our job, bring it on, but quit focusing on AI trying to read all these forms in different formats and many times are issued incorrectly (i.e. 1099MISc vs 1099NEC) businesses issue the wrong form often….AI wouldnt know the difference.
