Form 8825 for 1065's & 1120-S's-Other Deductions

After 23 years with ProSeries I have had my share of ups and downs but this one is by far the most disappointing and frustrating.

Form 8825 Worksheet for 1065/1120-S Line 21 B ‘All Other Deductions’

-No drill down to a supporting schedule

-No carryover of descriptions from 2024

-No amounts carried over from QuickBooks Desktop Import

I realize the IRS changed Form 8825 for 2025 however I feel it is best practice for the Service to have a detailed schedule for All Other Deductions.

I would appreciate thoughts from other users and possible workarounds for this situation.

Thank you.

We all agree but not one of my clients has asked to see the Other Deduction breakdown.

"however I feel it is best practice for the Service to have a detailed schedule for All Other Deductions"

But does the IRS agree with you?  As a side note, you can always attach a pdf of a detailed schedule if you like.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU THE TECH SUPPORT PEOPLE HAVE NO TAX KNOWLEGE TO EVEN ADDRESS ISSUE WHEN YOU BRING THEM UP.  EVEN WHEN YOU TELL THEM WHAT THE IRS INSTRUCTIONS ARE THEY IGNORE YOU BECUASE THEY DON'T HAVE A TAX BACKGROUND
