Form 3885 in the nonprofit module is listing every single fixed asset, and there are no state to tax differences, and many of these assets are fully depreciated. There are over 500 fixed assets, so it's generating over 100 copies of this form. Something about the form is also creating a problem when you try to allocate the depreciation to fundraising/administration/program. I can't efile the California return until I remove the allocation. What's wrong with this form? is there some magic box somewhere that you click to make it generate correctly???

If you can’t find a ‘magic box’ I’d be thinking workaround…. Start by creating a copy of the client file…deleting the fully depreciated assets…. Maybe consolidate others… sounds like you may have exceeded program limitations but i don’t prepare non profits and am out of my depth…. Good luck

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

@SWESTWOOD We know how disruptive it is when things don’t work as expected. Since this community is designed for peer-to-peer resource sharing, our technical team doesn't monitor these threads for troubleshooting. We do need you to reach out to our support team directly, even if you’ve already shared the details here. Our support specialists need a formal ticket, a clear summary of the topic and a client case file to investigate the behavior you're seeing. They have the tools to determine if it’s a quick fix, a change in instructions, a new unexpected behavior or one we’re already reviewing.

Reporting it through the proper channel ensures your specific case gets documented and addressed by the people who can fix it.
