How does one remove Form 1040-SR from one's life? It is a small bother when running the final review but a major hassle when i enter 1 to find the tax return and the worksheet appears every time.

We are having freezing weather now and the pool boys find my problems to bee of little interest.  They are too busy trying to stay warm.

There used to be a setting to shut it off but I don't know where it went to.  I have always just clicked the "no" box during the review process and have never thought much about it.  I have never "entered 1" so I'm not familiar with that aggravation.  Did you ask the pool boys if any of them know how to do it?

Lisa had an answer to this question of how to never have the 1040-SR print (3 pages instead of 2). I can't seem to find her original answer that saved me a lot of aggravation.

there is as I have it off - had to go look as I could not remember where it was either

from inside a return go to tools - miscellaneous - and you will see the check off box sort of near the top

Depends on if you are using Proseries.  After entering someones return.  Go to tools; options; misc.  4th box down, just give it a little shove with your mouse.
