filer's EIN and Name control don't match

How to fix this error when all the information is correct

If your client was rejected, and your sure the name, and SS number is correct, then you will have to mail in. I would check last years return if it was e-filed, and see if name, and SS number match what you have.

    If it was a new EIN issued in late 2023 or 2024 it just hasnt been updated in the IRS database yet, you'll need to paper file.
