EV deduction for ebike

Does an ebike qualify for the EV credit? Federal and/or California?

 

I only see a 4 wheeled vehicle option so that makes me think - NO it does not qualify.

    As I recall, the e-bike was only a proposal. It's electric motorcycles which were qualified, back then.

      Did you consider that if they put training wheels on the bike it might satisfy the 4-wheel requirement?
