Error Ind 689-01 2024

Trying to file amended 1040X for 2024.  Won't permit. Getting error message 689-01 incorrect signature date.  Have tried enabling efile error box.  Still no filing.  Anyone have the answer, please.  Intuit is useless.

can you leave the date blank? or does that create another error?

    Then I dont know what to tell you, thats what the error means.

    Is it a fed and state amended, did the date get changed on both returns?

    You know that box we have to enter a PIN date in when we EFile (when the client signs the 8879), if youre doing an amended from a prior year, its still got the old date in it, you have to go put the current date in.

      Thank you but the date was changed to reflect the new filing date.
