> 2% officer of an S-Corporation had health insurance premiums reported in Box 14 of their W-2.

I wanted to confirm the correct way to enter in ProSeries

I clicked the "Where Do I Enter" button and then went to the Health Insurance Payments - K-1 S Corporation Health LTC worksheet.

It then pulled up Form 7206

I entered the amount of the insurance premiums in Box 1 and then the total medicare wages in Box 11.

Is this the correct way to enter?

I don't think you enter it directly on the 7206 worksheet (and Form 7206 isn't required in most situations, despite what ProSeries does, but that is another story ....)

On the K-1 worksheet, look right above Box 1.  There should be a "Quickzoom" button that says something about health insurance.  That opens up a new worksheet, and you enter the insurance cost and Box 5 of the W-2 there.  That should automatically flow to the 7206 worksheet.

Interesting, I see that spot to enter it, but that is not where I entered it originally. Not sure of the difference?

If it flows to Schedule 1, it should be fine either way.

I've seen other comments where the numbers were NOT flowing when they entered it directly on the 7206 worksheet.  But maybe they were entering something wrong (such as missing the Medicare wage line).
