Energy Credits

My client has 3 energy credits for 2022

1) an EV credit form 8936 for $7500

2) an Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling (EV charging station) credit form 8911 $1000

3) Residential Energy Credit (solar installation) form 5695 $7776

Total credits $16,276

1040 line 21 $11,836

Pro Series applies the $7500 ev credit, + $4336 of the solar credit

Pro Series only carrys forward the unused solar credit $3440 not the $1000 charging station credit.

That's a problem.  Appreciate ANY input/help with this

Thank you!

Have you checked the 8911 for errors?

Is the 8911 only the personal credit?  Is it showing up on line 19?  Is it transferring to Schedule 3?

The credit for charging station is a nonrefundable credit, and is lost if not used up. No carryover. see instructions for form 8911
