How can I display clients email addresses on the homebase view

From a regular Homebase View (not the EF Center), top tool bar HOMEBASE > Add or Edit Custom Views

You can remove or add whatever columns you'd like.

    I do not have the add or edit custom views on my drop down list and I do not have a gear in the upper left.  Yes I am on the 1040 tab, not the EF center tab.  Now what do I do?
