It would appear that this is being added to the IRS' MeF which would be a significant improvement.

Does anyone know if ProSeries will pick this up for the 2025 tax year?

If they could figure out a way to add a fee to do it, it would be ready before the IRS is ready.  Without a way to bill extra for it, it will be stacked up in the same room as the 5227 for now.

It always seems to take multiple years for Intuit to catch up with IRS.

I hear it will be included in a new product for next year.  The PowerTax Library will exclude it but for an extra $1500, the SuperPowerTax Library will include it.  Still no 5227 though.  However, there is a rumor that for an extra $5227, that form will be included in the SuperDuperPowerTax Library.

Thanks.  It's good to have a source close to Intuit that can let us know about Intuit's plans for these forms.
