Efiling a return without attaching 1099B and should have been attached

I just efile federal returns for the perpetual late clients.   They had a variety of 1099B stock sales transactions on their returns, which I reported properly on Schedule D, but in summary fashion, because I always attached the 1099 Schedule B form itself.    In my haste, I efiled these returns about a half hour ago, without attaching the Schedule B 1099 Form.   Is there anyway, I can pull back the efiled return, and sort of "cancel" that efile and do it again.   Or just not worry about it?   Thanks much.   Jeff

1) You can't "pull it back"

2) You 'could' print out F 8??? and mail the F 1099-B to where ever.  I've heard the rumors there's a HUGE warehouse somewhere that has all the previously mailed once (back before attaching was the way to go...) are stored.  And that they are just molding away, never to be looked at.

3) I wouldn't worry.  IF/when the IRS asks for any details you can provide them then.

Hello IRONMan.    Your answer confirms my strong suspicions.   I will leave this alone, and provide the details later if needed.   Thanks much.    Take care.   Jeff

As long as I apparently already answered I would stick with number 3 in my "previous" answer 😁

And @JeffCPA , if the sales are covered transactions no detail needs to be attached.

But I'm with my colleagues, I wouldn't do anything unless they come calling

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Terrific.  Thank you.    95% of transactions are covered transactions.   Appreciate it.   Jeff
