I'm trying to efile a 2021 return in 2023. In the "Date PIN Entered" field, on the return it's saying the date has to be between 01/01/2022 and 12/31/2022 but efile was rejected by IRS. When I try to put a 2023 date, the return is saying that is an error. How can this be fixed??
I think you are the second or third person to ask that question. Enter today’s date in the client file. Go to the EF homebase. Select the client to efile and when the pop up window opens to convert the file for e-filing, uncheck the box for error checking. Then you should be good to go.
