E-filing issue

We have a small batch of tax returns that were e-filed and we cannot figure out how.  The user was not in the office at 12AM (when the e-filings happened).  IT has said that there was no compromise from the outside.  The efiling report acceptance do not show submitted or received by Intuit or IRS, but they were filed and that was confirmed by ProSeries support.

We are so confused and wonder if anyone else has had this problem and if it is related to the last update and problems with 1120S and 1065.

I remember a post or two a couple of centuries ago here saying returns were transmitted and the preparer was saying they didn't do it.  But I don't remember if those were Lacerte or ProSeries returns.  I don't recall there ever being an explanation for it.

So what does the status show in the EF Center?

We figured out that all workstations were not on the same update.

We are good now. I can't find a way to delete this topic.
