You mean credits from a pass through entity that flow through to the owners?

Yes, when the owners get the credits, but not all of it gets used, there is a carryforward, it shows up on form 3804-CR.

However, there is no schedule to let you know from what year the carryforward comes from. We need to keep track of the credits, so we do not carryforward more than 5 years.

Guess that is a state specific thing. Keep your own schedule outside of the software if ProSeries doesn’t track it.

I went digging around in the Carryover worksheets for both federal and the state of CA, but I dont see that as one of the things it tracks.
