Does anyone know a contact number to get help with the ID.me signin

I can not sign into my IRS account due to issues with my ID.me sign in. I have two email accounts apparently and the program keeps telling me to sign in using the other account, I've changed passwords but nothing helps. I've tried all their T/S pages and i am still sitting here three days later. I would like to wipe it clean and start fresh. Any and all comments are welcome as long as they are positive, not a good way to start a new season.

Try Login.Gov

You may be SOL w/ ID.me.. I tried searching a cust support phone number... nada.... tried chat...  but had to log into my account first and the AI doesn't give out phone numbers... eventually, I was offered to go into a queue for live agent but was number 202503 in line....

My recall of a difficult with the ID.ME was that I tried to have one for the regular citizen me and another for the tax guy me, with different e-mails. That was finally resolved after much frustration with just the me, guy on the street e-mail.

I now use that one ME at Social Security, IRS and CA Franchise Tax Board. I miss my split personality, we used to have fun conversations.

Good luck

I am having the same issue.  I get error code 6000 when I try to login to IRS.gov with id.me. A security condition is preventing me from IRS online service. ID.Me tells me that's an IRS code and they can't help.  The IRS tells me ID.me is a third party entity and only they can help.  I tried to make an appt at my local IRS office and in setting up that appointment I got Miss Baran on the phone who spoke to a supervisor and they are escalating the issue so that when you look at my account it now states the issue.  However, all she told me to do was to call the PTIN toll free number at 877 613 7846.  I believe I am being locked out as I erroneously did not pay my PTIN.  I did try to reset my password, which I did successfully but still not getting in to IRS.gov to register my PTIN.  I also cleared all the cache on my computer and added multi factor authorization on ID.me but nothing is letting me in. Please let me know if you solve your issue and I will do the same.
