DocuSign and deceased taxpayer

Hello,

Have a deceased taxpayer, surviving spouse, trying to send the spouse an electronic 8879 however the Docusign info is requiring a signature from the deceased taxpayer. All appropriate info for deceased is on the info worksheet. Anyone have insight to this?

    Never used Docusign, may want to try telling spouse to sign their own name followed by surviving spouse.

      Having just returned from Australia, I can confirm that they definitely receive email down under... Try again.
