    Quite often, the so-called "Tax Help" is not particularly helpful.

    Did the business percentage vary from year to year?  That is almost always the reason why that error message shows up.  ProSeries does not calculate the sale of an asset that has varied in business percentage from year to year, so you need to do manually do some things.
