Deceased Tax Payor

I am filing returns for 2022 and 2023 for a deceased tax payor.  The deceased had a will and there is a court appointed representative.  I have attached a pdf of document that appoints the executor.  The instructions for form 1310 state that the form is not needed if there is a court appointed personal representative, however, I keep getting an error message in the final review regarding incomplete data on the form.  I remove the form 1310, and still get the error message.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Sometimes you have to give the software what it wants and play around with the 1310 until it gets the answers that will make the errors go away.............................. and sometimes you just want to throw the computer out the window.  Hopefully for you, you will be lucky and not have to replace any broken windows today.

Hi IronMaN,

Thanks for responding.  I was able to make the error message go away for 2022, but not the 2023 return.  No broken windows!

Thanks

Hi Taxes by Rocky,

Thanks for responding.  I got the error message to clear for the 2022 return, but not the 2023.  Will keep trying to figure out what I did for 2022 that I can't seem to clear for 2023.

Thanks
