Death Filing
This is an unusual situation. First the Federal is fine because there is a zero refund or due. It is the State of Missouri I am trying to figure out. The client passed away in February and her daughter is filing for Property Tax Credit. The issue is that there is not an open bank account with the mother's name. How do we inform the state that the check needs to be made out to the daughter? Is there a special form that I am just not aware of?
