With respect to all members, has anyone in this community ever filed a tax return for a day trader in practice. Please reply to my post would greatly appreciated it!

Thanks for your post, but surly you are not in that group they already filed a tax return for a day trader so please skip this ASK. I am hoping someone can help me.

Susan's point is that you do not need to ask the same thing more than once. Your question is NOT software specific. As long as you've been posting on the forum you should, by now, know that those that wish to help don't limit themselves to just looking at PS, Lacerte or PTO.

There's a massive amount of Day Trader 'how to file', and how to elect Day Trader status on-line. Google it; that's how I learned what I know about Day Traders election & filing.
