The IRS has extended the filing by and pay by date to May 1st, 2025 to counties in Florida affected by storms in 2024.  The program gives an error message when entering the payment date of 4/30/2025.  "The debit date must be after the end of the tax year 12/31/2024 and the deadline date of 4/15/2025".

Why hasn't ProSeries made the appropriate adjustment for this?

Spoke to Pro Series and they said to uncheck the box that says "enable conversion error checking" and the return will be submitted.  Just submitted one that way to test it; IRS rejected it.  Intuit did not give accurate guidance.

Theyre not going to reprogram for the convenience of a few states.

In the time it took to complain about it and call in you could have scheduled the payment using IRS DirectPay, done!

Why hasn't ProSeries made the appropriate adjustment for this?

Intuit didn't do it for (virtually) the entire State of CA  two (three?) years ago.

They don't consider it 'necessary'.
