You need to fix a programing error on the 1099-R for a Roth IRA. Block 14-1 should not create an error is the amount in Block 14-1 is the same as Block 1. The error should only occur if Block 14-1 is GREATER than block 1. Please fix this. The only way I could file was to incorrectly report a lower amount than was actually withheld for State Tax.

Yes, I am saying the state tax withheld was the same as the gross distribution.  While this is unusual, it is technically possible.  Goal for a technique like this is to allow the client to avoid making estimated tax payments and still have adequate tax withheld to avoid under withholding penalties.  Intuit just needs get rid of this error.  Error should be limited to amount in state tax withholding GREATER than Gross Distribution.  Intuit should NOT make it an error if state tax withholding is EQUAL to Gross Distribution.

Its an unusual situation, I would have just rounded the gross up by a dollar, instead of reducing the withholdings.
