Question

Client unable to sign

I have had 6 clients fail to authenticate on e-signature on 2025 tax returns.  Some are first time taxpayers like my granddaughter while others are clients I have done for years and have always used e-signature.  I think I will skip buying signatures from Intuit next year since so many won't work and Intuit is using some authentication system that makes up silly questions that don't even apply to the taxpayers.  I think I am better off just using DocuSign directly.

@Laura49 Thanks for being here on the Community! I can see your last name was removed. That is considered PII and something like that is taken out of posts.

My problem has not been solved.

I checked with DocuSign support and they said Intuit requires an authentication process that not every tax client can use because they are either new taxpayers, have changed their name due to marriage or divorce or in one case because my client changed jobs.

I have many more then 6 now that have failed authentication because the questions they are asked are not relevant to them as a person or taxpayer.  The Intuit - DocuSign association is just not working that great this year.  I feel like it was a waste of money for me.
