Hi, client stopped renting part of their home - how do I show this in Proseries without losing prior years depreciation and loss carryovers?

Some people enter a disposal date on the asset entry worksheet, but leave the sales price blank, then save the depreciation asset list for recapture later....other people take the business use  on the asset entry worksheets down to .01% that  will effectively eliminate depreciation and the Sch E worksheet and all assets remain in the program for when its eventually sold.
