Client says they have no marketplace insurance but keep getting error?

Client says they have no marketplace insurance and neither do their dependents. I've checked off No Marketplace Insurance Purchased and made sure the ACA Explanation is filled out but it keeps getting rejected for the same reason. Anything else I can do?

When you attach the explanation file, make sure in the type is Other and description you put  ACA Explanation

Marketplace insurance seems like a great target for identity thieves.  Free health care, at least until you get caught.  This website tells mostly how to prevent it, but advises those who suspect it happened to contact the Marketplace Call Center.

I wouldn't just tell the clients to go their merry way and not worry about anything because you have an attachment.

I have had 3 clients this happened to.  They have called MP filed fraud claim and MP voided the 1095A form.  It takes time for it to register voided but will be able to file once it does.
