Question
Client requested an IRS Transcript of their '24 'accepted return', IRS says return not filed
any ideas as to why an accepted return (accepted on 6/25/25) shows up as not received yet by the IRS when requesting a transcript? They even made an electronic payment for tax due with the filing, and the money was pulled when the return was filed.
They can not seem to reach anyone by phone when they call the IRS.. is there another number to try?
