Child and dependent care expenses

Why the Proseries has calculated the child and dependent care expenses for 14 years and 17 years old kids though the age limit is 13 years to claim these expenses.

Because PS relies on the professional tax preparer to know that you cannot enter the amounts for the period after the child ages out.

If you know the children are 14 and 17, why did you enter any amounts?
