Can you e-file a second 1040X for the same year?

I need to amend a 2023 tax return, which has already been amended and accepted.

Is it possible to e-file. I was told that the IRS accepts up to three e-filings for 1040X in a given year.

Not sure if this is true or possible with ProSeries

Sometimes the search function here works, sometime it doesn't. Today it did:

For the record, they say to make a copy of the file to do the amendment. Personally, I never do but I always keep a paper copy of the returns so that that I leave footprints for myself.
