Can the direct deposit info be called in after it has be transmitted?

Hi everyone

Is there a phone number supplied by the IRS for tax professionals. To enter a direct deposit number.

after it has been transmitted.

No.    The client would need to wait for the return to post in the system then they could create an IRS online account and provide direct deposit information.  IRS will send a letter when they see the missing direct deposit info telling them to go online and do this or wait another 6 weeks for a  check..
